| This is my favorite season.. Less heat in Northern CA, Football has begun, the Celtics winning the championship still hasn't worn off, the Red Sox are in the wild card race, the Holidays are approaching.. Good times, noodle salad..
I've mentioned economics in relation to the guitar market here in the past. I think that advice applies even more now than it did a few months ago. The peak pricing of the last few years has settled out and brought things in-line so that future gains can be expected. What I've been seeing lately is that acoustic guitars are extremely popular. Think about it - the cost of a new hand-made acoustic guitar has been on the rise for years and the availability of quality woods is diminishing. These two factors alone will continue to drive the prices of US made, quality acoustic guitars for the foreseeable future and beyond. Keep an eye here as I am diligently searching for prime and player vintage Martins, Gibsons etc...
