An amazing, investment grade guitar that is priced right for the current market. You may not ever see a cleaner all-gold LP. All-gold guitars are very rare from 1956 and only 920 goldtops were made in this year, this is one of few you'll ever find in all-gold with a stock tuneomatic bridge). This one is outstanding not only in the area of condition (and originality), it also weighs only 7 1/2 pounds (give or take a couple ounces..).
The guitar is 100% original with almost no fading or 'greening' of the finish. The guitar has been played very little so the areas of slight discoloration are where the guitar rested on two points in the case. The electronics are fully functional and untouched and there are no repairs or issues with the instrument whatsoever. The finish does show some typical light checking. The original, pink-lined 4 latch case is also in beautiful condition with the handle, latches and hinges fully functional.
